My wife and I moved to the US in July 2019, all the way from sunny South Africa and we love Charlotte! It is “lekker”. When we are not working, we are outside, walking the greenways, “braai” (BBQ), and spending time with our dachshunds and our first baby boy. I love the ocean, scuba diving, camping, safaris and just spending time in nature. I am an avid reader and enjoy topics on American History and Politics.

I have been an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant in the construction industry in South Africa where I developed an eye for detail, having to inspect multiple buildings, malls, skyscrapers, and office complexes being constructed. I have conducted over 500 Health and Safety Audits and over 1000 site inspections. I wanted to make a difference on a more personal level and that is why I became a Home Inspector. I joined HIC in Feb 2021 and look forward to a prosperous and great future together.

I conduct CE hours monthly, expanding my knowledge and ensuring I stay up to date on everything in the industry. I am busy with my master’s in occupational health and safety in addition to working towards all the certifications a Home Inspector can have so that I can better serve my clients and their home inspection needs.
