If you are a licensed home inspector, or you are scheduled to sit for your license exam, we want to talk. HIC inspectors work across Charlotte, Concord, Gastonia, Mooresville, Rock Hill, the Triangle and the Triad, with the support of a full office team, in-house training and a group of experienced inspectors who help each other.
We offer a full suite of services under one roof: standard home inspections, pre-drywall, mold, termite, radon, sewer scope, infrared, well and water, pool, commercial and drone. Ancillary work is done by our own certified inspectors, which means more revenue per inspection for the people doing the work.

Sales Representative
HIC is looking for the right person for our sales role: someone with a sales background and a working knowledge of the real estate industry, who enjoys being out in front of people.
What the role involves
- Developing and nurturing relationships with real estate offices and agents to grow the business, with year-end targets
- Sales visits to realtor offices, presentations, sponsored events, and focused outreach to top-performing agents
- Planning and distributing marketing material: flyers, coupons, giveaways
- Travel within Charlotte and the surrounding area, and Raleigh and the surrounding region
- Advocating for preferred-vendor status with brokerages where it applies
- Weekly meetings with the leadership team to stay aligned on goals
