I am a North Carolina licensed Home Inspector in Raleigh.  Spanish is my 1st language, if you need a Spanish-speaking home inspector contact our office and request me. I have been with HIC since 2018. Before that, I spent five years as a construction manager. I am a member of InterNACHI and Inspector Nation, where I continue learn and deepen my knowledge.

My first concern is always the client. I will let you know if you are going to be safe in your new home and if are there are any major concerns you should consider before purchasing your home.  “I treat all homes like I am buying them for my family to ensure you are protected .”

I am a family man, married to a wonderful woman, and we enjoy spending time with our five kids. In 2014 I found the best dog ever, Spencer!  Spencer spoke to me when visiting a shelter and we have been best friends ever since.

When I was younger, I worked with my uncles as a helper during construction projects and learned a lot about how homes are constructed. As I got older, I took drafting classes and continued to advance my knowledge.

I became a home inspector in 2017 after remodeling and selling a home I purchased.  After talking with the home inspector that came to inspect my home, I was convinced I wanted to get into this line of work.  I felt that with my experience in construction and remodeling, inspection would be an excellent fit for me.  Helping clients protect their investment to the best of my ability truly brings me joy as a home inspector.

I attended The Home Inspection Training Center by Gregory Enterprises in 2016.  I also complete continuing education classes each year to refresh my knowledge and get updated on new standards. I have been hands-on through the home building process for over 30 years with constructors and carpenters.  I have received pest control and radon certifications.

In 2015, after 20 years in the home remodeler/handyman business, Frank decided to expand his knowledge and experience to become a home inspector.

In the remodeling business, Frank enjoyed working with homeowners to create solutions to their problems. Frank especially enjoyed discussing the issues and solutions with the clients, allowing them to become better educated about their homes.

This experience has helped Frank explain concerns with buyers and their agents about the home he is inspecting. Allowing him to better communicate with clients to understand their problems when purchasing a home. Frank focuses on providing the knowledge needed to make quality informed decisions before buying their new home.

Frank is licensed in both North and South Carolina and holds radon testing certifications, infrared detection, and mold certifications. Frank is also certified to perform termite and well inspections. He conducts his inspections using a body cam for accurate reporting and the protection of the client.

Frank is also a member of InterNACHI and the Charlotte chapter of NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors). Each year attending 12 hours of continuing education to expand his knowledge further.

My name is Aaron Grindstaff. I am a Carolina native born and raised in the Charlotte area and love my state. I have worked for Home Inspection Carolina for The last 8 years and have performed over 5,000 home Inspections in my career.  I enjoy my job and the company I work for. I hope to continue In of the home inspection industry and serve this community for many years to come.  When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my children and wife. I have three young boys and enjoy camping,  fishing, hiking, and pretty much anything outdoors. I look forward to meeting all my clients and will work hard for your trust and admiration.

He and his wife, Donna, are both very involved with their church and community. Todd has been through hundreds of homes built anywhere from the 1800’s to last week. Dek worked with a local engineering firm for over 10 years. He specialized in foundations, soil mechanics, concrete, other construction materials, and many different structural inspections. Very knowledgeable in the many different systems of a home and their intended functions. He was mentored and educated by one of the most knowledgeable and well-respected home inspectors in the State! His goal is to make this process as informative as possible without “scaring” you with the conclusion. If you don’t know the first thing about how a particular system in the home works, it will be explained in a way you can understand. Dek treats every home inspection as if he was purchasing the home for his own family…very thorough!

I am originally from Newton Square, PA.  My father and my brother are mechanical engineers. I have always been good with my hands, making and fixing things around the house. When I purchased my home,  I had a home inspection done! The home inspector allowed me to shadow him. I enjoyed the process and obtained my home inspection license 18 months later.  I have been a home inspector since 2005, and I am certified in North and South Carolina.  I also have certifications in radon and mold.  In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the great outdoors and playing golf.
