David Haynes

Specialty:
Home Inspector
David Hayes

David was born and raised in Salisbury, North Carolina, and spent his childhood exploring the trails and woods near Dan Nicolas Park. David began his career in construction in high school, where he worked for a family friend’s window and remodeling company. David went to college in Broomfield, Colorado for aviation mechanics and obtained his A&P license. The aviation industry honed and fostered his attention to detail. Aviation led to an advanced troubleshooting and services career with General Electric, where David worked on GE wind turbines and traveled the United States for eight years before moving home to North Carolina.

David became a home inspector because he enjoys using his attention to detail to help people’s home buying experience feel informative and to give buyers confidence when purchasing their home. He is certified in mold, radon, and infrared.

True to his upbringing, you’ll find David on his days off outside camping, hiking, or fishing with his wife and three dogs. He also enjoys disc golf and plays recreational softball. He also recently finished a total DIY home renovation, which means he has more time to cheer on the Tar Heels and Panthers.
